Zapatopi

This website looks a little fishy just from the way the website is set up at first glance and it was one of my first clues that this is not a trustworthy site. If you scroll to the top left you will see that this is a blog, so it is not really a good idea to trust a blog in the first place because almost anyone could write a blog. Also the whole idea just seems dumb, the hat literally has no purpose and just sits there. It states "since you can't trust anyone..," that makes this person sound either crazy or clueless of whatever he or she is talking about in this blog. The site seems to also contain quite a few grammatical errors inside of it which makes me believe it is less trustworthy

ID Faceoff Activity

This is wrong because thefts don't just use drivers and name badges, if they gain access to one piece of your information that gives them access to a large portion of your identity making it harder to get your identity back.

Trends

What are 3 trends you see in computer history?

I have seen smaller screens (aka Mobile Devices and Tablet Computers)
to make it easier to visit websites and  message people on the go.
Larger Hard Drives in computers to help store more data.
so that people can store more personal data on their computers.
Better Connection to the Web.
makes it so people can visit websites easier.

3 Things that drive improvements are:

  1. Faster Website surfing
  2. Portable viewing of webpages
  3. Need to have ability for being "always connected"

What is POIT?

POIT stands for Principle of Information Technology.

In this lesson,I think we will learn the basics of Technology and Electronics. Some things that we might learn will be how to work with and manipulate Software and look at different hardware. It will be an opportunity to explore different career options and look at the types of jobs available for IT.  Exploring and looking through different programs and software's will help give us and idea on what we might try to do in the future.

I think we will be studying many types of IT and Networking. These types of things will help us decide if we want to continue with an IT type of job later on in life. I hope we will be experiencing a bunch of different programs and software to help us get a better idea on how to use them. I hope POIT in general will be an experience full of IT and network knowledge that will help us in the future.
